結成 20年にして、初来日とあいなりました Iron Savior ！
この 5月には、新譜 「Titancraft」 をリリース！初来日に向かって着実に盛り上がっていったんだけど、6月30日、バンドからこんなお知らせがあったよ。
Dear Fans,
today we have some good and some rather not so good news for you. Unfortunately we will have to stay without Thomas for a little more than initially expected. For health reasons Thomas has asked us for a time-out from metal drumming and therefore from Iron Savior. Of course we have granted this request and have released Thomas for 2016 from all Iron Savior duties. We are thankful for his honesty and responsibility he has been showing on that behalf. We understand and respect his decision, which he also made in respect to uphold the capacity to act for Iron Savior. We as bandmates and friends give Thomas our 100% support and wish him well for his 2016 sabbatical time-out in order to board the Iron Savior again in 2017 at full throttle!
The good news is, that all shows will be held as planed and announced! Sören Teckenburg (Paragon), who took over for Thomas occasionally in the past already, will play all 2016 shows. This means the capacity to act for Iron Savior is not affected at all! Sören is a perfect fit within the band chemistry and his drumming abilities are beyond any doubt anyways.

簡単にまとめると、メンバーの Thomas Nack (Dr) が、健康上の理由に、2016年内のバンド活動を休養。でも、2017年にはバンドに復活し、Iron Savior として活動していくんだって。
その代役を務めるのは、Sören Teckenburg (ゾーレン・テッケンブルグ) とのこと。この人物は、かつて、Iron Savior のサポートを務めた経験があるみたいなので、ひとまず安心できるね。
勿論、サポート・メンバーが入るということは、公演は決行されるってことだよ！
初来日を、フル・ラインナップで見ることができないのは残念だけど、公演をキャンセルしてもおかしくない出来事にも関わらず、万難を排して公演を決行しようという姿勢は、素直に嬉しい。
この公演に寄せるインタビューでも、この公演に懸ける想いを語ってくれたし、バンドの心意気に応えるためにも、これは行くしかないね！
